README for leaves_data

OBJECTIVES
The full pipeline for analysis of leaf area and comparing at the population level.
Leaves were acquired from sagebrush seedlings.
Images of both abaxial and adaxial sides of leaves were obtained using a high resolution document scanner.
These images were black and white.
Using R, pixel outlines were obtained of these leaves and estimations of leaf area were automated.
These data were used in analysis of leaf area comparisons among different populations of similarly aged seedlings.
